Redevelopment of brownfield site to C2 use
An existing but ageing industrial site is imaginatively revised to introduce new employment uses, providing job opportunities in excess of those that exist, a private residential care home and new houses.
The site is awkward in configuration with many restrictions imposed by drainage, culverts and flood risk. Working with the Environment Agency, the development of town houses has been arranged along the flood risk corridor producing a bio-diverse landscaped communal area.
