BB negotiated a successful Planning consent for this development of offices on two floors and a separate residential block of 11 apartments on five levels, all within a Conservation Area.
The proposals were developed subject to a MADE review and working closely with Planning and Conservation officers.
Given the constrained inner city location and tight site, the design lends itself to modern methods of construction (MMC), utilising off-site prefabricated elements that can be erected quickly and accurately.
The scheme utilises rainwater harvesting to attenuate surface water run-off and has the capacity to generate significant levels of renewable energy.
