- The work being undertaken to improve the safety of communities through the Multi-Agency
Public Protection Arrangements is vitally important and a priority for government. BB developed
a new concept for West Mercia Constabulary by identifying the key interactions within the facility
to enable all the needs of each agency to be met. The essential outcome was in identifying
the specific atmosphere that the buildings convey to potential witnesses. The buildings
are anonymous on the outside and internally they are domestic in feel and anti- institutional.
The success of the concept has been shared with other Police Forces as a proven working model
- The Vulnerable Witness Suite model now provides purpose-built facilities in a number of town stations
in the West Mercia area
