Redevelopment of a former Public House site to form a pre-preparatory school
St Albans Junior School currently admits pupils at Year 3. The new facilities will provide classes and ancillary accommodation for Years 1, 2 & Reception.
The new buildings are arranged around a double height entrance lobby. The proximity of residential properties on each side has presented a great number of constraints but these have been fully resolved and the resulting design is both sympathetic to its neighbours and contextual.
