- A police base equipped for the demands of the 21st century
- The new police base will be built on the site of an existing training school which, together with other
old buildings, will be demolished. The development will be on land adjacent to the present mansion house, which was extended in the 1960s, and will offer a modern working environment for police officers and support staff across a range of departments
- The project is part of Warwickshire Police’s commitment to its staff and the community it serves ensuring a force which is fit for purpose and well equipped for the demands of the 21st century
- The new facilities will significantly improve accommodation from which Warwickshire Police can provide modern policing services. The design proposals will provide the specialist working environments required to continue to improve policing, particularly in such areas as murder investigation, firearms training
and scientific support. Irrespective of the implication of police reform this base is of significant strategic importance in supporting policing and providing facilities for the future and continue the significant local policing emphasis
